Bethesda is in Maryland, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Bethesda follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Love it here. Great service and high quality meats, fish and many other goodies. Love that they pre package small portions of A5 so you can get a taste without breaking the bank. Highly recommend!

Organic Butcher of Bethesda! What an awesome thing to have a real-life butcher shop in the neighborhood. I've been going across the river to their McLean shop for at least 10 years, but glad to see they opened this one about 5 years ago. I support locally owned shops, restaurants and other businesses in my neighborhood and other locales whenever possible. This is such a unique butcher shop, with fresh and frozen meats, entrees, produce, wine, beer and so many other items packed into this cute shop. They also have some high-quality Wagyu and will cut bones for your bone broth. The staff is always very friendly and eager to help. This butcher shop is the real deal fo' sho'.

I’m not here to speak negatively about someone’s business because I own a business too, and I know customer service isn’t always easy. But this is the second time I’ve had an uncomfortable experience with the same employee (a white woman wearing a scarf, maybe in her 50s). I’m a Black man, and both times I’ve visited, she gave me what felt like an unwelcoming look while I was checking out. Today, someone else was ringing me up, and she walked over to the register and gave me the same look again. The first time was back in the winter. I can’t say why she looked at me that way, and I won’t assume her intentions. I can only speak on how the interaction made me feelβ€”it made me feel unwelcome. I love supporting local butcher shops and businesses with high-quality products, especially since I live only about 10 minutes away. Unfortunately, after experiencing this twice, I’ll be taking my business elsewhere because I don’t feel welcomed.

Go every week for meat, cheese, beer, and wine. An amazing place with super friendly staff. Going in has become a ritual. I always know I'm going to find something great in addition to what I'm after. For example, cheese that's cut up for sampling, or beer in little cups... What's particularly great: Green sausage; tri-tip; ground beef; whole chickens; and smoked bacon. Amazing place!

A wonderful addition to this side of Bethesda. One employee, Ian, unexpectedly opened the door for me and gave a friendly greeting exclaiming he's there "all the time," which set a positive and welcoming tone for the entire experience. The store in general is a bit pricey but is overall high quality, so you get what you pay for ultimately. In defense of the store, it is in an area with very high rent so they don't have much of a choice. Zach behind the register provided my clueless self with knowledgeable and kind guidance. We chatted about different types of Wagyu beef. He was available for questions the entire time and seemed very knowledgeable. Thank you Zach for making me feel welcomed even after I admitted I was just there to look around! The butcher staff behind the counter sound both confident and competent, I look forward to coming back here to pickup some steaks whenever I'm making them next. The quality of the meat looked great and I was tempted to abort my dinner plans for a nice New York Strip right then snd there. The rockstar staff they have stand out most, If customer service and a human touch is something you value highly than this is going to be a much better ex
